Abstract

The article discusses methodological issues of statistical assessment of the impact of some regional demographic policy measures (regional maternal (family) capital, payment at birth of a child up to a certain age) on fertility. The possibility and expediency of using fertility rates for this purpose both for calendar years and for real generations is being evaluated. When assessing the impact of demographic policy measures on fertility rates for real generations, it is necessary to take into account the age ranges of women of certain generations during the period of the implementation of these measures.
