Abstract

A setup for corrosion tests of bioresorbable alloys, which provides stable automatic maintenance of temperature and pH level for a period of time up to 700 h., as well as continuous circulation and renewal of the corrosion solution has been developed. The results of approbation of this unit are given, on the example of magnesium alloy ZX10. It is established that the scattering of results of corrosion rate determination for identical samples tested in two identical corrosion cells does not exceed 10% by weight loss and 15% by the volume of released hydrogen.
