The article considers the problems inherent in the development of financial literacy of the population, such as the installation of the financial behaviour of people associated with the assignment of responsibility for personal financial decisions and take financial risks for the state, as well as a passive attitude towards control over personal finances. The article assesses the state of financial literacy today. Considered to improve financial literacy of residents of the Sverdlovsk region. Provides guidance for the development of mechanisms of interaction between state and society, ensuring the financial literacy of the population in the development and implementation of regional strategies for the development of financial literacy.

В статье рассмотрены проблемы, присущие процессу развития финансовой грамотности населения, такие как установки финансового поведения людей, связанные с возложением ответственности за личные финансовые решения и принимаемые финансовые риски на государство, а также пассивное отношение к контролю за личными финансами. В статье дается оценка состояния финансовой грамотности населения на сегодняшний день. Рассмотрены вопросы повышения финансовой грамотности жителей Свердловской области. Предлагаются рекомендации по выработке механизмов взаимодействия государства и общества, обеспечивающих повышение финансовой грамотности населения при разработке и реализации региональных стратегий развития финансовой грамотности.
