Abstract

A comparative analysis of the properties of titanium alloy pipes obtained by two processing options was carried out: the cold rolling method and the drawing method. The microhardness of the metal was measured along the tangential coordinate and along the radial coordinate on transverse pipe templates. The heterogeneity of the microhardness distribution along two coordinates was revealed. Possible causes of the phenomenon are outlined. The Q-factor and the Kerns index are calculated. The connection between texture and Q-factor is carried out.
