The problem of interreligious dialogue has at all times been important for ensuring peace and international security. In this regard, it is interreligious dialogue that ensures obtaining reliable ideas about various faiths and confessions, overcoming the “enemy image” within any religious community, establishing trust in representatives of other religions, and creating harmony in interreligious and interethnic relations. The article examines the problem of food dialogue as a form of interreligious communication using the example of Christian-Muslim sociocultural traditions of the Ural-Volga region. Based on the concept of the philosophy of food by E. Levinas, variations of the interreligious dialogue between Self and Other and its regional specificity are analyzed.
