Synen på dyslexi i specialpedagogutbildningen : En innehållsanalys om hur definitionen av dyslexi lyfts i specialpedagogers kurslitteratur vid fyra lärosäten

Abstract

Denna kandidatuppsats är en kvalitativ undersökning inom det specialpedagogiska området av hur dyslexi lyfts fram i specialpedagogutbildningars kurslitteratur. I vår uppsats har vi undersökt kurser och kurslitteratur vid fyra högskolor och universitet. Vi har gjort en innehållsanalys av kurslitteraturen för att synliggöra hur dyslexi definieras i de undersökta specialpedagogiska programmen. Vår frågeställning lyder: Hur definieras dyslexi i de specialpedagogiska utbildningarna? Vilka likheter och skillnader finns i framställningen av dyslexi i fyra specialpedagogiska utbildningars kurslitteratur? I den empiriska delen redogör vi för de fyra utvalda högskolorna/universitetens kurslitteratur som vi funnit relevant utifrån sökord vi använt. Resultatet av vår undersökning visar att dyslexi som ett renodlat fonologiskt problem är det mest dominerande vid två undersökta lärosäten. Detta enligt den kurslitteratur som matchat våra sökord. Vid två lärosäten kunde vi inte finna någon definition eller förklaring till dyslexi eftersom ingen kurslitteratur matchade våra sökord.
