
O PRESENTE TRABALHO TEVE COMO OBJETIVO ANALISAR A IMPORTÂNCIA DO SETOR FLORESTAL NA ECONOMIA BRASILEIRA, TENDO COMO REFERÊNCIA O ANO DE 2005. FOI UTILIZADO O MODELO DE INSUMO-PRODUTO PARA O CÁLCULO DE MULTIPLICADORES SETORIAIS, ÍNDICES DE LIGAÇÕES DE RASMUSSEN-HIRSCHMAN E ÍNDICES PUROS DE LIGAÇÃO. OS RESULTADOS INDICARAM QUE O SETOR FLORESTAL FOI IMPORTANTE PARA O DESENVOLVIMENTO SÓCIO-ECONÔMICO DO BRASIL, EM 2005.-----------------------------------------THE PRESENT WORK OBJECTIVES TO ANALYZE THE IMPORTANCE OF THE FOREST SECTOR FOR THE BRAZILIAN ECONOMY, WITH REFERENCE THE YEAR 2005. THE INPUT-OUTPUT MATRIX MODEL WAS USED FOR TO ESTIMATE SECTORS MULTIPLIERS, RASMUSSEN-HIRSCHMAN LINKAGE INDEXES AND LINKAGE PURE INDEXES. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT THE FOREST SECTOR WAS IMPORTANT FOR THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE BRAZIL, IN 2005.
