NEUMONIA CRIPTOGÉNICA ORGANIZADA CAVITADA Y ANORMALIDADES DE LOS GANGLIOS BASALES: PRESENTACIÓN DE UN CASO

Abstract

Cryptogenic Organizing Pneumonia (COP) is a pulmonary disorder with a wide spectrum of radiological features. A case of a young patient, 16 years old is shown with a CAT appearance of multiple cavitary nodules in both lungs that responded with a complete resolution after corticosteroid therapy. This patient also reveals abnormalities of the basal ganglia as the result of hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy associated with the acute presentation of this disorder.
