Abstract

This papper presents basic OSPF protocol characteristics and also his advanced characteristics. The work can be categorically divided into two parts: The first part refers to the general part where the basic concepts such as routing, routing algorithms and basic routing protocols will be presented. The second part refers to a detailed OSPF protocol description.

U ovom radu su opisane osnovne karakteristike OSPF protokola te njegove naprednije karakteristike. Rad se može podijeliti u dvije cjeline. Prva cjelina se odnosi opći dio gdje će se prikazati osnovni pojmovi poput usmjeravanja, algoritama usmjeravanja te osnovnih protokola usmjeravanja. Druga cjelina se odnosi na detaljni opis OSPF protokola.
