У статті окреслено основні іконографічні школи, що існували на території України, узагальнено сучасні уявлення про характеристики шкіл іконографічного малярства, розкрито їх особливості та відмінності. Сформульовано теоретичні підвалини і практичні рекомендації, спрямовані на удосконалення організаційно-тактичних засад установлення характерних ознак основних іконографічних шкіл України. Матеріал даної роботи може бути застосовано для підвищення якості висновку мистецтвознавчої експертизи та використання його як джерела доказу в кримінальному провадженні чи засобу доказування. Для реалізації поставленої мети використано візуальний, порівняльний методи дослідження. The article contains information about schools of sacred painting that existed in Ukraine at different times. A description, systematization and a brief description of each of them were held. The main iconographic centers have been identified, including Kyiv, Halyts- koVolynskе, Zhovkva, Sambir, Rybotytsk and Ostroh. At the same time, their characteristic features are clarified, their features and differences are revealed, which consist in various traditional approaches in the creation of painting samples, which further allows the art expert to correctly attribute the works of icon painting in their study. The material of this work can be used to improve the quality of the conclusionof the art examination and use it as a source of evidence in criminal proceedings ora means of proof.
