Penggunaan teknik convenience sampling menghasilkan sampel terkumpul sebanyak 410 responden. ***** This research was conducted the purpose of knowing the influence of father involvement on academic confidence. This research conducted using quantitative approach by distributing the questionnaires. The use of convenience sampling techniques resulted in a sample of 410 respondents collected. This research used Academic Behavioural Confidence Scale (ABC) designed by Sander & Sanders (2006) and The Father Presence Questionnaire (FPQ) designed by Krampe & Newton (2006). The statistical analysis test used to test the research hypothesis is the regression analysis test of one predictor. Result of research shows that the value of Sig. = 0,000, which indicate there is a significant influence of father involvement on academic confidence. The results indicate the value of the determinant coefficient (R Square) = 0,107, which indicate that father involvement gives a 10,7% influence on academic confidence.
