BULLYING SEBAGAI IDE PENCIPTAAN KARYA KOMIK DIGITAL

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memvisualisasikan berbagai macam aksi bullying yang terjadi di Indonesia dalam bentuk komik digital. Penelitian ini berfokus pada kehidupan sehari-hari anak sekolah menengah atas yang mengalami kasus bullying di sekolah. Sebab Komisi Perlindungan Anak Indonesia dan Federasi Serikat Guru Indonesia mencatat banyaknya kasus bullying dari tahun ke tahun dan angkanya terus meningkat. Urgensi dari penelitian penciptaan karya Seni Rupa ini untuk menyadarkan masyarakat agar mengenal berbagai macam bentuk jenis bullying melalui komik digital yang peneliti buat dengan judul "Fight Or Go To Hell". Karya komik digital ini fokus pada visual yang kental dengan gaya manhwa (komik asal Korea) dan dikemas dengan nuansa anak sekolah di Indonesia seperti nama karakter, visual karakter, dan latar tempat yang diciptakan sesuai data riset serta eksplorasi karya yang disesuaikan dengan tema bullying. Sehingga pengguna dapat mudah memahami pesan yang disampaikan melalui karya komik digital yang dibuat dengan teknik digital melalui software Ibis Paint X. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penciptaan design thinking. Tahapan empathize, define, ideate, prototype hingga testing dilakukan dengan metode penelitian meliputi narasumber magang, proses eksplorasi dan pendapat calon pengguna. Karya "Fight Or Go To Hell" berbasis komik digital ini diperuntukkan remaja usia 12 - 23 tahun. Komik ini telah memenuhi kriteria sesuai target pengguna melalui uji validitas oleh ahli desain serta telah dilakukan implementasi karya terhadap target pengguna remaja usia 14, 15, 17, dan 19 tahun. Setelah tahap uji coba, sebanyak 6 remaja terdiri dari remaja siswa dan mahasiswa merespon bahwa komik digital yang dibuat peneliti cukup menarik perhatian serta memiliki alur cerita yang baik dalam memvisualisasikan berbagai macam aksi bullying.***** This study aims to visualize various types of bullying that occur in Indonesia in the form of digital comics. This study focuses on the daily lives of high school children who experience bullying at school. Because the Indonesian Child Protection Commission and the Indonesian Teachers' Union Federation recorded many cases of bullying from year to year and the numbers continue to increase. The urgency of this research on the creation of Fine Art works is to raise public awareness to recognize various forms of bullying through digital comics that researchers create with the title "Fight Or Go To Hell". This digital comic work focuses on visuals that are thick with the style of manhwa (comics from Korea) and is packaged with the nuances of school children in Indonesia such as character names, character visuals, and settings created according to research data and exploration of works that are adjusted to the theme of bullying. So that users can easily understand the message conveyed through digital comic works created using digital techniques through Ibis Paint X software. The research method used is a qualitative method with a design thinking creation approach. The stages of empathize, define, ideate, prototype to testing are carried out using research methods including intern sources, exploration processes and opinions of prospective users. The work "Fight Or Go To Hell" based on digital comics is intended for teenagers aged 12 - 23 years. This comic has met the criteria according to the target user through a validity test by a design expert and the work has been implemented for target users of teenagers aged 14, 15, 17, and 19 years. After the trial stage, as many as 6 teenagers consisting of teenage students and college students responded that the digital comics made by researchers were quite interesting and had a good storyline in visualizing various types of bullying actions.
