Abstract

Keterampilan berbicara adalah keterampilan dengan tujuan utama untuk berkomunikasi. Keterampilan berbicara dalam bahasa Mandarin menuntut pemelajar untuk mampu berkomunikasi secara lisan dengan penutur jati. Untuk menguasai pembelajaran bahasa Mandarin, pemelajar memulai dari tingkat dasar. Kesulitan utama bagi pemelajar tingkat dasar adalah pelafalan dan tona. Keterampilan berbicara tidak hanya ditingkatkan melalui pengajaran, tetapi juga melalui latihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk latihan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Mandarin tingkat dasar berdasarkan latihan mengingat dan meniru, latihan pemahaman dan penerapan, serta latihan komunikatif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik studi pustaka. Data penelitian ini adalah bentuk latihan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Mandarin dari Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Mandarin Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Universitas Kristen Indonesia, dan Universitas Negeri Surabaya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Latihan mengingat dan meniru yang digunakan di UNJ, UKI, dan Unesa adalah latihan pinyin, latihan fonetik, latihan membaca lantang, dan latihan subtitusi. (2) Latihan pemahaman dan penerapan di UNJ, UKI dan Unesa adalah membuat kalimat. (3) Latihan komunikatif di UNJ, UKI dan UNESA latihan tanya jawab dan latihan mendeskripsikan gambar. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan Berbicara, Tingkat Dasar, Bentuk Latihan, Bahasa Mandarin. Speaking skill is a skill that mainly aims to communicate. Speaking skills in Chinese language demands students to be able to orally communicate with native speakers. To master Chinese language studies, students will start in beginner level. The main difficulties of beginner students are pronunciation and tones. Speaking skills could not be improved only by teaching, but also through exercises. This study aims to describe speaking skill activities of basic Chinese language based on memory and imitation activities, comprehension and application activities and also communicative activities. This study adopts descriptive-qualitative method with literature review technique. The data of this study is the forms of Chinese language speaking skill exercise at Chinese Language Education Department of State University of Jakarta, Christian University of Indonesia, and State University of Surabaya. The result of this study shows that: (1) Memory and imitation activities that are conducted in UNJ, UKI, and Unesa are Pinyin exercise, phonetics exercise, reading exercise, and substitution exercise. (2) Comprehension and application activites that are conducted in UNJ, UKI, and Unesa are making sentences exercise. (3) Communicative activities that are conducted in UNJ, UKI, and Unesa are question-and-answer exercise and image describing exercise.
