Abstract

This work defines the objectives and priorities of innovative pedagogical approaches that should be used in the organization of physical education in higher education institutions in order to maintain health and improve the physical condition of students. In our opinion, it is necessary to study more deeply the role and place of physical culture in the system of modern education, to assess the impact of this discipline on the level and dynamics of health of students, to find more effective approaches to disease prevention and harmonious development of each individual.
