Abstract

The article considers the role of bioenergy crops for solid biofuel production and innovative tools for the development of Miscanthus x giganteus, Panicum virgatum and Salix viminalis plantations. Such tools include: biotechnological methods of breeding and propagation, seed and nursery management, growing and biomass harvesting technologies. New and improved existing research methods for scientists and methodological recommendations for producers have been developed, which ensures the production of the required volumes of biomass, increases the supply of organic carbon to the soil by the root system and post-harvest residues, and contributes to the reduction of erosion processes.
