Formation of pupilsrsquo;competences in the process of Project-based learning at Geography. Geographical competence means the usage of various geographic techniques, knowledge, skills and information in practice and everyday life. In this regard, becomes relevant the process of looking for learning technologies that could create the conditions for the implementation of competence-based approach in the geographic education. One of these technologies is the Project-based learning, which assumes: to find the necessary information for the implementation of project ideas; to analyse and synthesize the collected material; to elaborate the hypothesis of their own research; to propose practical activities based on the results of the research. In our secondary school in the last years are used technology projects. As a result, was created a good management system of projects, classified by typology. The projectsrsquo; results have been presented at scientific conferences of different levels national, international.
