Molds are microscopic fungi that play an important role in human health or disease. Molds very often cause spoilage of food and feed. Some molds are harmful or toxic to humans but there are also those that play a positive role. These are primarily molds of the genus Penicillium that are responsible for obtaining the antibiotic penicillin, and then for the possibility of producing cheeses with a refined aroma, which is why we call them noble molds. Then there are molds that ferment to produce foods that are an important item in the diet in many parts of the world. What other molds have a positive but also a negative role in people's lives and in what way, the goal is to show in this final paper.
Plijesni vrlo često izazivaju kvarenje namirnica i krme.
