Ruralni turizam u Istarskoj županiji

Abstract

Selective forms of tourism are the future of tourism, and rural tourism is one of them. Precisely according to the trends that are becoming more pronounced, the specifics needed and the desire of tourists, it is clear the importance of highlighting selective forms of tourism, with the aim of moving away from the former mass, saving destinations and domicile population, representing diversification and specifics of the destination offer. Inclusion of rural tourism in the offer of destinations ensures adequacy and timeliness of resource protection, preservation of cultural integrity, biological diversity, ecological processes, traditional crafts, authenticity of the offer, preservation of production, revitalization of rural areas, etc. Systematic work on creating and enriching rural tourism offers quality and quantity at the same time, individualization and authenticity, diversification and tourist experience, allows identification with the destination. Istria County with its current offer of rural tourism brings life to rural areas. Unlike the former beginnings, when there were 37 registered agritourism households, today that number has risen to as many as 225 households whose offer ensures year-round tourist flows and constant financial inflows. Today's offer is mostly based in the Central Istria cluster, offering guests tradition and authenticity, a departure from noise and pollution, a return to their original roots.

Uvršavanje ruralnog turizmu u ponudu destinaciji osigurava se adekvatnost i pravovremenost zaštite resursa, očuvanje kulturnog integriteta, bioloških raznolikosti, ekoloških procesa, tradicijskih zanata, autentičnosti ponude, očuvanje proizvodnje, revittalizacija ruralnih područja i sl.
