
The subject of this thesis is digital transformation, i.e. its application to business processes within the company HEP-Operator distribution system d.o.o. The work will try to show as clearly as possible the application of digital transformation in today's world and on specific examples within the subject company HEP ODS. The COVID-19 pandemic greatly pushed the processes of digital transformation on a global level, which also affected the Croatian economy, mostly due to the reduced possibility of physical contact and live interaction. As a result of the above, HEP ODS also rapidly initiated digital transformation processes and did so in several ways, both through certain digitization of business processes and through various projects that are constantly being launched and upgraded with new opportunities and technologies. The backbone of this thesis is certainly the empirical part, that is, survey research of respondents who are employed at HEP ODS, Elektra Zadar. The research itself will make a detailed cross-section in order to obtain as comprehensive a picture as possible of the real state of digital transformation and its application and effects within Elektra Zadar. The prerequisites necessary for the successful implementation of the digital transformation process in some business processes will be emphasized, as well as how the application of digital transformation will affect the company's operations, i.e. whether the decision to go in that direction will even pay off within a certain period of time. The equivalent of the digital readiness of HEP ODS for the current situation in which we find ourselves will be presented, especially related to the energy sector in which the company itself operates. Certain business processes within HEP ODS will be compared, processed in detail and analyzed, through which it will be known to what extent digitization, i.e. digital transformation, helped the company to achieve savings and obtain good business results on the market.
Predmet ovog diplomskog rada je digitalna transformacija, odnosno njena primjena na poslovne procese unutar tvrtke HEP-Operator distribucijskog sustava d.o.o. Kroz rad se pokušalo što zornije prikazati sama primjena digitalne transformacije u današnjem svijetu te na konkretnim primjerima unutar predmetne tvrtke HEP ODS. COVID-19 pandemija je uvelike pogurala procese digitalne transformacije na globalnoj razini što se odrazilo i na hrvatsko gospodarstvo, ponajviše zbog smanjene mogućnosti fizičkog kontakta i interakcije uživo. Slijedom navedenog, i HEP ODS je ubrzano pokrenuo procese digitalne transformacije te je to učinio na više načina, kako kroz određene digitalizacije poslovnih procesa, tako i kroz razne projekte koje se stalno pokreću i nadograđuju s novim mogućnostima i tehnologijama. Okosnica ovog diplomskog rada je svakako empirijski dio, odnosno anketno istraživanje ispitanika koji su zaposleni pri HEP ODS, Elektra Zadar. Samim istraživanjem se napravio detaljan presjek kako bi se dobila što obuhvatnija slika realnog stanja digitalne transformacije te njene primjene i učinaka unutar Elektre Zadar. Naglasili su se preduvjeti potrebni da bi se sam proces digitalne transformacije uspješno implementirao na neke poslovne procese te na koji način je primjena digitalne transformacije utjecala na poslovanje tvrtke, odnosno da li se odluka da se ide u tom smjeru uopće isplatiti unutar određenog vremenskog perioda. Prikazao se ekvivalent digitalne spremnosti HEP ODS-a za trenutnu situaciju u kojoj s nalazimo, posebice vezano uz energetski sektor u kojem sama tvrtka i posluje. Usporedili su se, detaljno obradili i analizirali određeni poslovni procesi unutar HEP ODS-a preko kojih se doznali u kojoj mjeri je digitalizacija, odnosno digitalna transformacija pomogla tvrtki da ostvari uštede i poluči dobre poslovne rezultate na tržištu.
