Abstract

В статье рассматривается правовое и социальное положение учителей духовных семинарий и училищ Беларуси во второй половине ХІХ – начале ХХ в. Подчеркивается, что существовавшая нормативно-правовая база четко регламентировала процедуру приема на работу, круг обязанностей педагога, а также указывала на имеющиеся права. Показывается роль учителя в организации учебно-воспитательного процесса. Характеризуется материальное положение учителей и показываются пути его улучшения, а также раскрываются условия труда и быта. Сравнивается социально-правовой статус учителей духовных учебных заведений и светских.
