Abstract

Определение спортивных способностей, и в целом одаренности, как сочетание врожденных и морфологических и функциональных способностей человека является предметом специальной педагогической отрасли – ориентации и отбора для занятий в различных видах спорта. Процесс многолетней подготовки в любом виде спорта начинается именно с процедуры отбора и спортивной ориентации. Рациональная система отбора и спортивной ориентации позволяет своевременно выявить задатки и способности детей и подростков, создать благоприятные предпосылки для наиболее полного раскрытия их потенциальных возможностей, достижения духовного и физического совершенства и на этой основе овладение высотами спортивного мастерства.
