Guia d'atenció al dol perinatal i la mort neonatal

Abstract

The key aspects that must be highlighted in this document are the need to have trained professionals and references in perinatal bereavement in each institution, who can address, inform and empower the expectant mother and her partner. That they can also apply, if there is one, a birth plan agreed with the wife and partner in these types of births/losses, to ensure the possibility that they have the desired farewell to their son or daughter and the creation of memories (to obtain them at that time or later), and to carry out adequate psychological follow-up for the prevention or treatment of possible psychopathological disorders resulting from the loss.
