Abstract

En el episodio radial "Inclusión para personas ciegas o de visión reducida en las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) ", se abordó la inclusión de personas ciegas en IES con el invitado Enrique King, un psicólogo experto en asistencia educativa para personas con discapacidad. Se discutieron temas como las barreras comunes que enfrentan los estudiantes ciegos, el papel de sus compañeros en la inclusión, y recomendaciones para mejorar su éxito académico. Se resaltó la importancia de la accesibilidad y el apoyo institucional en la retención estudiantil.

In the radio episode "Inclusion for Blind or Visually Impaired People in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs)," the inclusion of blind individuals in HEIs was discussed with guest Enrique King, a psychologist specializing in educational assistance for people with disabilities. Topics covered included common barriers faced by blind students, the role of their peers in inclusion, and recommendations to improve their academic success. The importance of accessibility and institutional support in student retention was emphasized.
