О возможных контактах мансийского и селькупского языков (по данным этнонимики)

Abstract

Рассматривается возможность этимологизации одного из селькупских этнонимов – шёшкуп, исходя из данных мансийского языка: возможно, данный этноним восходит к мансийскому словосочетанию со значением 'здешний, местный человек'. Так как мансийский и селькупский языки не соприкасаются на современной лингвистической карте Западной Сибири, в статье приводится ряд «сепаратных» селькупско-мансийских лексических изоглосс, наличие которых обосновывает правомерность такого сопоставления.
