Синхронизация электромагнитных резонансов в терагерцовом черенковском генераторе

Abstract

С использованием разработанной 2.5D-гибридной программы выполнено моделирование взаимодействия пучка и поля в терагерцовом черенковском генераторе. Трубчатый электронный пучок толщиной 0.3 мм и энергией 350−515 кэВ инжектировался в сверхразмерную замедляющую структуру диаметром 40 мм с предварительно рассчитанными полями трех резонансов с частотами 367.8, 365.8, 362 ГГц и добротностями 2464, 622, 296 соответственно. Исследования показали, что для адекватного описания взаимодействия пучка и поля достаточно учитывать первые два резонанса, которые синхронизуются на частоте, зависящей от радиуса и тока пучка, энергии электронов, магнитного поля. Время до установления синхронной частоты практически не зависит от тока пучка (2–10 кА).
