Рассмотрены формирование и деятельность Союза землевладельцев и земледельцев Юго-Западного края в 1906–1909 гг. Союз был создан в годы Первой русской революции для защиты имущественных интересов землевладельцев и мирного решения аграрного вопроса, но ключевым моментом, определившим особенности его функционирования и дальнейшее исчезновение, стал национальный вопрос, а именно проблемы взаимодействия помещиков русского и польского происхождения.
