Abstract

В статье рассматриваются причины обращения Ф. Горенштейна к творчеству А.П. Чехова в конце 1960-х гг, интерпретация Ф. Горенштейном цивилизационных, социально-исторических и ментальных процессов XIX в., идеи фило- и антропогенеза писателя, этико-философские взгляды Ф. Горенштейна, его понимание места и роли творчества А.П. Чехова в отечественной и мировой литературе, анализируются стратегии и тактики прочтения Ф. Горенштейном творчества А.П. Чехова.
