Abstract

Исследуются стратегии чтения и интерпретации творчества М.Ю. Лермонтова центральным персонажем романа Ю. Фельзена «Письма о Лермонтове» (1935). Эти стратегии близки к биографическому методу – отождествление автора и его героя. Цель познания лермонтовской личности – обретение персонажем Фельзена экзистенциального ориентира и эстетического принципа на пути к собственному творчеству. В самоидентификации с Лермонтовым-Печориным происходит акт самопознания, признание несоответствия пишущего персонажа своему идеалу и поведенческая самокоррекция.
