Abstract

Трагедия Вячеслава Иванова «Прометей» наиболее близка трилогии Жозефена Пеладана «Прометеида». Точками соприкосновения между ними являются 1) расщепление мифологического антагониста Прометея на две ипостаси – трансцендентную и имманентную; 2) образ Прометея как демиурга; 3) мотив использования похищенного небесного огня в целях завершения творения человека; 4) дуализм творения (совмещение совершенства и порочности); 5) мотив создания Пандоры Прометеем; 6) Пандора как образец при творении человека; 7) сотериологическая роль Пандоры как примирительницы между богами и людьми.
