In our country, historically characterized by a strong presence of the third sector and associationism, new modes of storytelling and dissemination of scientific knowledge have made their way. From a pedagogical and educational perspective, these modes are configured as potential generative substrates, both from a cultural (transmission “from below”) and relational (community and participatory dimension) point of view. Within this framework, this contribution aims to reflect on the theme of dissemination considering a real case of associative experience. It is about IACC Italia, a branch of International Association of Color Consultants. Active since 2009 in the field of research, training, and color design for the recovery of a harmonious relationship between man, environment, and territory, IACC Italia represents a virtuous example of a laboratory for the development of critical thinking in the post-modern society
