Abstract

La modellazione centrifuga-numerica accoppiata è in grado di descrivere in maniera efficace il complesso meccanismo di interazione che si sviluppa tra lo scavo di una galleria, il terreno, e gli edifici sovrastanti comprensivi del proprio sistema di fondazione. Essa si fonda sui principi della sperimentazione in centrifuga geotecnica per descrivere, alla scala del modello, lo stato tensionale nel terreno e il campo di spostamenti generato dallo scavo e incorpora le possibilità date dalla modellazione numerica di studiare in maniera dettagliata i componenti strutturali e la risposta non-lineare dei materiali. Il presente contributo illustra l’applicazione di tale metodologia alle strutture a telaio tamponate (simulate nel modello numerico) con fondazioni a trave rovescia (modellate in centrifuga, insieme al terreno e alla galleria). Per valutare il contributo fornito dai muri di tamponamento, sono analizzate diverse configurazioni di edificio e impiegati parametri specifici di danno.
