Dans la myriade de jus de fruits proposés au consommateur européen, un produit semble promis à un bel avenir : le jus flash-pasteurisé. De qualité supérieure, il profite de la bonne image développée par les jus de fruits fraîchement pressés. Ceux-ci, produits en quantités limitées par des industriels à la surface financière plus modeste que les ténors européens ou mondiaux, ne semblent pas avoir retenu l'attention des législateurs européens. Le système des prix d'entrée à l'importation, d'oranges notamment, dans l'Union Européenne handicape ces nouveaux industriels.
