Abstract

The formation of strain texture on aluminum specimen during cyclic tension was investigated. In order to study the differences of strain texture of solid material and thin foil, the images of both specimen's surface and aluminum foil adhesively bonded to the specimen were evaluated. The images were captured using microscope equipped with digital camera and numerically evaluated using set of informative parameters. The informative parameters and their behavior throughout cyclic tests are being analyzed and discussed.
