Языковая ситуация в Бельгии

Abstract

The article "Language situation in Belgium" by Dr. Luc de Grauwe, professor of the Germanic Philology Chair of the University of Ghent (Belgium) examines different population groups of the country in respect of language use, problems of language minorities, the national language problem. On the ground of a thorough historic analysis of the existing language groups of population and the statistic data the author makes a conclusion about the heterogeneity of the language situation in Belgium and about the priority of the English and French languages

В статье д-ра Люк де Грауэ, профессора кафедры германистики Гентского университета (Бельгия), "Языковая ситуация в Бельгии" исследуются различные группы населения страны в отношении пользования языком, проблемы языковых меньшинств, проблемы государственного языка. На основании подробного исторического анализа сложившихся языковых групп населения и статистических данных автор делает вывод о неоднородности языковой ситуации в Бельгии и о приоритете французского и английского языков
