Abstract

The article deals with the problem of teaching Russian to the foreign students in the framework of competence-based approach. It is noted that the competence-based approach in conjunction with the activity-based and personality-oriented approaches allows not only to teach inophones the Russian language, but also to instill respect and love for the Russian culture and its traditional values, and therefore, to form a humanitarian culture and promote the professional and personal growth of students.
