Abstract

The article contains main data concerning the economics appliance of chrysotile asbestos in Russia as well as abroad. Some physico-chemical characteristics were considered, and also, some data results of long-term experiments on fibrogenicity and carcinogenecity caused by dusts emitted while asbestos formed details production and also while their maintenance. The study was performed according to the approved plan of research work № Т-125 : “Study of chrysotile asbestos fiber concentration in the atmospheric air while brake items wearing process”.
