Abstract

Landfills are a serious problem that affects the ecology and public well-being of any city. Garbage accumulates in landfills, which can pollute the soil, water and air, as well as attract pests. The article considers the issue of pollution as one of the main environmental problems of Sevastopol. The consequences of improper waste management and the impact of landfills on the environment are considered. The need to take measures to improve waste management and promote an environmentally friendly lifestyle is highlighted. The damage caused to soils from unauthorized landfills has been assessed. Options for solving the problem of landfills and creating a sustainable environmental environment for future generations are given.
