
The article deals with distance learning in relation to the process of professional education of convicts held in penitentiary institutions of the criminal Executive system. Based on the theoretical analysis of the problem of distance learning in places of deprivation of liberty, the existing difficulties in its organization are identified and the main ways to solve them are outlined
