Abstract

The article raises the question of practical importance of language adaptation of foreign students because of the absence of the pre-university language courses. The article explores the challenges that the students with little or no knowledge of Russian language meet in learning the course «Russian as a foreign language», in regards of simutaneous studies in their primary specialty. The author points out that the development of additional education program «Russian language as a foreign lan-guage» for the elementary level desires the introduction of scientific and professioanl lexics from the beginning. The examples of incorporating of scientific vocabulary in the tests of the first classes in «Russian as a foreign language» are suggester in the paper.
