Abstract

The article deals with the use of computer technologies in the educational process of secondary school students. The need to apply programs for three-dimensional modeling is determined by the growing demand of modern society for professional engineering personnel, as well as the implementation of extracurricular activities for the development of spatial and creative thinking of students. The use of three-dimensional software products allows you to create engineering projects that meet modern requirements. The article deals with the feature of the use of three-dimensional programs in the formation of engineering competence in extracurricular activities of students. A method of organizing extracurricular activities for adolescent children is proposed. In the course of our research, we proved the effectiveness of computer technologies in the formation of engineering competence of middle school students, justified the choice of three-dimensional software products. The author provides practical recommendations on the use of three-dimensional modeling technology, which can be useful for teachers who want to instill an engineering culture in their students. The recommendations are based on the observation of the practical and experimental activities of schoolchildren in the laboratory of three-dimensional prototyping. The conclusion is made about the feasibility of using the technology of three-dimensional modeling in the training of schoolchildren, the implementation of combined modeling of simple objects allows you to achieve a high level of formation of engineering competence.
