Abstract

Das Ziel der vorliegenden Masterarbeit war es einen Überblick über den Einsatz von digitalen Medien insbesondere interaktiver Materialien im Mathematikunterricht zu geben. Dabei wurden die folgenden Begriffe thematisiert: die Entwicklung der Medien, der Medienbegriff im Unterricht, Voraussetzungen für die Verwendung im Unterricht als auch didaktische Aspekte eines digitalisierten Unterrichts. Im Fokus der Arbeit standen interaktive Materialien zur Bruchrechnung, die in einem Unterrichtsdesign nach dem 5E-Modell aufbereitet wurden. Innerhalb einer auf Design-based research basierenden Untersuchung arbeiteten acht Schülerinnen und Schüler der 5. Schulstufe im Mathematikunterricht mit den ausgewählten digitalen Aufgaben. Anhand der Ergebnisse konnten Rahmenbedingungen und Faktoren für das Verwenden von digitalen Medien im Unterricht abgebildet werden, wobei der Fokus der Untersuchung die Lernumgebung interaktiver Materialien war und wie diese beim Verstehen und Entdecken mathematischer Inhalte unterstützen können. Die Ergebnisse überschneiden sich zu großen Teilen mit den im Theorieteil bisherigen Studienerkenntnissen. Die Dynamik der Materialien und somit die Möglichkeit einer Verknüpfung mehrerer Darstellungsebenen der mathematischen Inhalte sind ein Beispiel für eine Lernumgebung mit interaktiven Materialien, die das Entdecken und Verstehen von mathematischen Begriffen und Inhalten der Lernenden unterstützen kann. Diese Masterarbeit ist sowohl für Studierende im Lehramt Mathematik als auch Lehrende im Bereich Mathematikdidaktik von Interesse.

The aim of this master thesis was to give an overview of the use of digital media, especially interactive materials, in mathematics teaching. The following concepts were addressed: the development of media, the concept of media in teaching, requirements for the use in teaching as well as educational aspects of digitized teaching. The thesis focuses on interactive materials concerning fractions, which were prepared in a teaching design according to the 5E-model. Within a design-based research study, eight students of grade 5 worked with the selected digital tasks during three mathematics lessons. Based on the results, conditions and factors for the use of digital media in the classroom could be described, whereby the focus of the study was the learning environment of interactive materials and how these can support understanding and discovery of mathematical concepts. The results overlap to a substantial extent with the study findings depicted in the theory section of this paper. The dynamic nature of the materials, and thus the possibility of linking multiple representations of mathematical objects, is an example of a learning environment with interactive materials that can support learners in discovering and understanding mathematical content. This Master's thesis is of interest to both students in mathematics teaching and teachers in mathematics education.
