The article contains the analysis of the practice of issuing diplomas to students graduating from the Russian State Professional and Pedagogic University, the Kurgan State University and outlines the perspectives of implementation of evaluation tools in final certification which provide the possibility to determine the degree of conformity of the level of preparation of university graduates to the requirements of state educational standard. В статье анализируется опыт дипломирования выпускников Российского государственного профессионально-педагогического университета и Курганского государственного университета. Описываются перспективы использования оценочных средств итоговой аттестации, позволяющих установить степень соответствия уровня подготовки выпускников вузов требованиям государственного образовательного стандарта.
