Abstract

La relación de los microorganismos con las patologías pulpares fue establecida en 1894, cuando Miller propuso la hipótesis de que las bacterias son los agentes causales de las enfermedades de origen endodóntico, debido a que observaba una prevalencia de bacterias en conductos radiculares asociados con condiciones patológicas. Los microorganismos de la cavidad bucal se han referido como la microflora oral, microbiota oral y mas recientemente como el microbioma oral, que fue acuñado por Joshua Lederberg y significa una comunidad de microorganismos comensales, simbióticos y patógenos, que comparten nuestro espacio corporal pero se ignora como pueden ser determinantes en la salud y en la enfermedad. Por lo que proponemos realizar una identificación de microorganismos en infecciones pulpares de dientes temporales ya que no existe mucha información al respecto, el conocer dichos microorganismos nos ayudara a modificar el tratamiento utilizado actualmente para erradicar las infecciones pulpares y la antibioticoterapia empleada, el tratamiento de pulpectomia en dientes temporales es un tratamiento de rutina y el propósito del estudio es identificar los microorganismos en dientes temporales con infección por métodos moleculares, con la finalidad de mejorar la terautica hasta ahora utilizada y evitar posibles fracasos del tratamiento.
