Influência dos "kits" os cientistas no desenvolvimento do comportamento científico em adolescentes

Abstract

O presente estudo propõe-se verificar em que medida o objetivo de desenvolver comportamento científico pode ser atingido através dos "kits" da série Os Cientistas que a Abril/FUNBEC editaram. Trabalhou-se com os quatro primeiros "kits"da série: Newton, Lavoisier, Einstein e Volta, e com o"kit" Galileu, modificado, de modo a servir aos objetivos de avaliação na pesquisa. O Grupo Experimental foi composto de 24 sujeitos e o Grupo Controle também, sorteados aleatoriamente dentre alunos de 8ª série de três colégios da cidade de São Paulo. Os resultados demonstram alto grau motivacional do material e revelaram um ganho significativo para o Grupo Experimental quanto a conhecimentos e habilidades intelectuais, bem como melhores resultados para este grupo quanto a encaminhamento de solução de problemas.
