Abstract

Objective: The article aims to verify the influence of the participation of cis and transgender women in the Has Feeling Collective (HFC), aimed at income generation, on their crack consumption. Methodology: we undertook an ethnographic type of research in which for a period of one month we were living daily with the women of the HFC. Results: we were able to verify the complexity of the work in the sewing workshop, the connections of the Collective in that territory and the daily life lived by those women, structured around routine activities and distant from the consumption of alcohol and crack. The HC promotes an environment with shared values such as assiduity and good coexistence, which exercise sanctions in order to prevent the women who participate in it from using drugs. Conclusion: participating in the CTS can have a positive influence on the control of crack and alcohol use, allowing this use to be framed in moments that do not interfere with the presence in the Collective, such as on weekends.
