Abstract

Este artigo analisa as possibilidades de investigação interdisci-plinar no campo da cultura escrita, unindo as metodologias depesquisa do historiador e do conservador-restaurador de docu-mentos gráficos. Propõe uma discussão sobre a viabilidade daincorporação das fontes escritas aos conceitos e metodologiasdos estudos históricos sobre cultura material, ao mesmo tempoem que avalia a necessidade de uma sistematização metodo-lógica da conservação-restauração que preserve a memóriamaterial dos documentos.
