Дебаты между сенатором от Иллинойса, демократом Стивеном Дугласом и претендентом на его должность республиканцем Авраамом Линкольном в 1858 г. – одна из самых известных публичных политических полемик в истории США. Основным предметом полемики был вопрос о рабстве.
