Abstract

Статья посвящена анализу урбанонимов Вышнего Волочка, провинциального города России, и их значению в культурном и историческом контексте. Исследуется, как топонимика города отражает его развитие и инфраструктурные изменения на протяжении веков. Рассматриваются современные изменения в топонимике, свидетельствующие о сохранении народной памяти и идеологических преобразованиях. Статья выделяет ключевые тематические группы топонимов и подчеркивает значимость водных ресурсов для развития Вышнего Волочка. = The article is devoted to the analysis of urbanonyms of Vyshny Volochok, a provincial city of Russia, and their significance in the cultural and historical context. The article explores how the toponymy of a city reflects its development and infrastructural changes over the centuries. Modern changes in toponymy are considered, indicating the preservation of national memory and ideological transformations. The article highlights the key thematic groups of toponyms and highlights the importance of water resources for the development of Vyshny Volochok.
