Abstract

Cathode reduction of palladium in a two-phase system of the composition: organic phase aqueous solution of palladium ions has been carried out; the kinetic characteristics of the reduction of palladium tetra-chloride complexes: exchange current, angular coefficient and charge-transfer coefficient have been determined. The specific adsorption of tetraethylammonium chloride together with negatively charged palladium chloride complexes on the palladium electrode surface has been analyzed.
