У посібнику розглянуто стислу характеристику та порядок застосування мікропроцесорних засобів автоматизації, використання ОРС-технології та протоколів Modbus і OBEH для доступу до даних процесу, порядок застосування середовища CoDeSys для програмування ПЛК, програм для конфігурування пристроїв зв'язку з об'єктами, програм настроювання ОРС-серверів, створення проектів у SCADA-системах TraceMode та OPМ
